Deadline for 2017 Special Projects is January 26!

Due to a very successful auction enough monies were raised to support the PPT budget as well as fund $26,100 worth of Special Projects!!!!

$7,100 of those dollars are being allocated to start the planning and building of an outdoor classroom for Lincoln students!

This leaves $19,000 for you to start brainstorming other amazing projects to benefit the Lincoln Community!!!!!!

What are Special Projects?

  • Special Projects can be any project or item that will benefit the school. Special Projects can be submitted by parents, grandparents, teachers or students of Lincoln.
  • Special Projects are paid for by money that is raised from the annual Lincoln Auction after the PPT budget has been funded.
  • Special projects funded in the past include: Smart Boards in the classrooms, the "Big Toy" playground equipment, STEM technology, Lincoln information sign, popcorn popper and 3D Laser Printer just to name a few.

Applications will be due by Thursday, January 26, 2017. They can be submitted to Amy in the Lincoln Office or to Cinnamon Marxen at cinnamonmarxen@yahoo.com.

Special Projects meeting will be held at Lincoln on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 6pm.

Lincoln K-8 Box Top Bulletin

What is a Box Top Challenge?
The goal of the school-wide Box Top Challenge is to increase submissions to 10 Box Tops per student per month
for the remainder of the 2016-2017 year. By meeting this goal, we could raise as much as $3,000 for Lincoln!
Prizes! Prizes! Prizes!
For every 5 Box Tops turned in, you will receive 1 entry into a monthly drawing.
Each month, three winners will each receive a $5 gift card! The more Box
Tops you turn in, the better your chances to win!
The classroom with the most Box Tops turned in by May 15 will win a party!
Easy to Turn In!
1. Clip Box Tops and Bonus Box Tops.
2. Place in Ziploc bag or envelope, OR tape to one of the collection sheets on the following pages.
3. Make sure student’s name and teacher’s name are included. (Please do not try to write student’s name on the actual Box Top itself. Please use a Ziploc bag or envelope. Thanks!)
4. Place in classroom collection canister or school collection bin in main entry.
Box Top Tip #3 – Trim/tear very carefully! Box Tops with partial dates or incomplete product acronyms cannot be submitted for reimbursement.
Questions? Contact Melanie Tschida, Lincoln parent and volunteer Box Top Coordinator at
Thank you for supporting Lincoln!
Nearly 1,000 Box Tops were turned in during the month of December! Even better news: student participation jumped by 40%! Keep up
the great work! The January contest will run
for the entire month. Please submit your Box Tops by January 31st to be includedin the drawing!
