PPT Meeting, 1-27-20: Topic, Chemical Use in Kids
Come to a special PPT Meeting on Monday, January 27 at 7:00 PM. All parents are welcome to attend and participate!
When we surveyed families this fall about what topics they wanted to learn more about at PPT meetings, this was a very high interest area.
These two presenters are educators in the Rochester Public School system, and are knowledgeable about what parents should know to help keep their kids safe and informed. They have a positive and upbeat approach, and will be focusing on knowledge rather than scare tactics.
There is NO COST to attend this event. It will be on Monday, January 27th from 7-8 pm in the Lincoln library.

The Lincoln Memory book team is in the process of putting together another fantastic yearbook! We are beginning to take orders online for the great price of $12.00, which incidentally has not changed in eight years.
Order forms will be coming home next week but ordering online is so much easier!

The lost and found bins are overflowing. All lost and found items will be on tables outside of the Media Center until 01/30/2020. Please take a few minutes to stop and see if you can claim anything that belongs to your family!

We need your help getting to $400,000.00 in receipts by the end of May. Anyone can donate Hy-Vee receipts to Lincoln. The receipts have to be from a Rochester Hy-Vee Store. So relatives, friends people at work can donate receipts.
Remember, to bring any receipts you have collected to school and deposit in our Hy-Vee Receipt Box in the foyer.

Project Community Connect:
Project Community Connect will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at John Marshall High School. Sponsored by the Homeless Community Network of Olmsted County, everyone (including children) is invited to attend. Participants can learn more about local resources (MNsure Navigators, legal services, veteran services, employment assistance, housing, childcare) and access free services (free haircuts, free lunch, free HIV testing, free ID). Interpreters available. Free city bus routes 9 & 10 to/from the event - just tell the driver that you are going to Project Community Connect. · Each high school offers an incoming freshman night to current 8th graders in the community. This is an opportunity to learn about the offerings at each of our high schools, including opportunities like AP, Honors, CTECH, etc.
